Privacy
Your files stay local. The page can still use the network.
This page separates the privacy of the files you open in a tool from the network activity required to load and operate a website.
Files you choose
Ownside's tools process user-selected files in the browser. They do not send the contents of those files to an Ownside server for processing. Generated outputs are saved only when you choose a download action.
Network requests and third parties
Loading a page requires network requests for the site and may require additional downloads for WebAssembly modules, codecs, or machine-learning models. Some runtime resources are served by third-party content networks.
Pages may load third-party advertising and associated analytics or measurement resources, including Google AdSense. Those providers may receive request information and may use cookies or similar storage according to browser settings, consent controls, and their own policies. Local file processing is not a promise of zero network requests.
Browser storage and permissions
Ownside stores the chosen light, dark, or system theme in local browser storage. The recorder asks for screen, camera, or microphone access only after you choose a source; the browser presents and controls that permission. Browsers may also cache application resources and models.
Scope and control
Ownside does not require an account. Browser extensions, the browser itself, network providers, and third-party services operate under their own controls and policies. Blocking third-party or runtime resources may change which page features load.
